The Carrot-Clip

What is The Carrot-Clip? The Carrot-Clip is a stainless steel belt clip that mounts to your Garrett Propointer or Propointer AT, eleminating the need for a pinpointer holster. It allows the user to conveniently clip the pinpointer directly to a belt or simply hang it on the outside of a pocket.

Who is it for? When I'm out detecting, I usually like to carry as few items as possible: a metal detector, a shovel and a pinpointer. Since I wear cargo pants with large pockets, I don't really need to wear an extra belt with a bulky pouch. Some might call me a minimalist. Others might call me lazy. Either way, the Carrot-Clip was designed especially for us lazy folks!

Advantages of The Carrot-Clip:

  • Works with both Garrett Propointer and Propointer AT pinpointers.
  • No need to carry a pinpointer holster since the clip is mounted on the Propointer itself. Just clip it and go!
  • Clip is mounted far enough away from the tip so that it doesn't interfere with detection.

Compatibility: The Carrot-Clip was designed for the Garrett Propointer and Propointer AT (aka Garrett Carrot). It may work on others as well but I've only tested it on the Garrett pinpointers. The diameter of the mounting hole is 1.45". The outter diameter is 1.65".

IMPORTANT! The Carrot-Clip is not intended to be used underwater. Since the clip is mounted between the battery cap and body, the pinpointer may no longer be waterproof. These are designed for dry land hunters only. If you decide to submerge your pinpointer, simply remove The Carrot-Clip and spacer first.

Note: Please keep in mind that these are not stamped out by the dozens from a machine. Each one is deburred, bent and painted by hand. Although I try my best to keep them as uniform and consistent as possible, you may notice slight variations in the shapes.

Items are shipped within 4 business days of placing your order. We ship on Tuesdays and Fridays. Orders placed after 10:00AM on Tuesdays will ship on Friday. Orders placed after 10:00AM on Fridays will ship the following Tuesday.

Returns/Warranty/Legal: Returns for full refund of purchase price excluding return shipping accepted within 30 days of purchase. You will have to pay for the return shipping. No refunds will be issued if unit has been abused. The Carrot-Clip LLC warrants products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and if properly installed for a period of 30 days from date of purchase. This shall constitute the sole remedy of the purchaser and the sole liability of The Carrot-Clip LLC to the extent permitted by law, the foregoing is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or representations whether expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event shall The Carrot-Clip LLC be liable for special or consequential damages.
